The Municipality of Del Carmen is thrilled to kick off the Macramé Livelihood Training under the GROW Program (Giving Resources and Opportunities to Women) of Project PEARLS.
From March 3–5, the hardworking mothers of the Espoir School of Life gathered to transform used t-shirts into continuous fabric strips—proving that sustainability and style go hand-in-hand. 🧶👕
Why this matters:
Upcycling: Giving discarded materials a second life.
Circular Economy: Supporting Del Carmen’s commitment to sustainable practices.
Empowerment: Creating new income streams for our local families.
We are so proud of these amazing mothers for their creativity and determination. This is just the start of something beautiful! 🌸
